finally

With out knowing, I have been waiting for this book for years. Once I started reading it I didn’t put it down untill I finished it. I couldn’t read it fast enough. Beautifully written and expressed The Other Boleyn Girl is a book that I hated to finish.

Drama

The history aspect of this book is what makes it neat. I wasn't entirely sure how much of it was actually true. I think It just followed an outline of what happened and filled in the details. I thought it was horrible how the sisters ending up fighting against each other for the heart of the king. Was life in the courts really like that during that time? It just seemed that the point of a girl's life was to marry young, obtain as high of a status as possible, and bear male offspring to carry on the family name, which was shown throughout this book. Overall, there was a bit too much drama and not enough history for my taste.

love and history

If you love history then you will love this book as much as I do. It is one of my favorite books and recommend it to anyone. This book tells the story of Mary Boleyn, who is younger sister to Anne Boleyn who becomes King Henry VIII of England. Mary who was the King's mistress at first learns to become independent from her power hungry family and her selfish sister who cares for no one. Mary does find love…true love
