This is the best simple guide and recipe book which specifically and succesfully adresses diminishing 'hormone issues' through food that I have found sofar. And if you ask me, it is not just menopause, but any old period, that will become more bearable following this book a bit.
Why not five but four stars?
I just wish this book would give a little more information about eating vegan and organic - which can also help the hormone disbalance a great deal. Especially with meat, chicken and diary products - if you feel you really HAVE to have them - because of the antibiotics and hormones used in raising these animals, eating them organic is of major importance for you. I won't start here on what's good for the animals….just pick up a John Robbins book to get educated on that!
