You're getting like an attitude. What you get put through for just wanting something more out of life. Makes you vulnerable. Inside, that tug of desperation, trying not to be excited, maybe this is it, and it's usually freaks and you want to shout I'm not like you.

Synopsis: Chrysalis Moffat, an adopted, troubled girl, goes along with her brother's plans to start a Tibetan School for the Enlightened with a fake guru in order to make a great deal of money after their alcoholic mom dies. While their plan is successful, the character's lives that were kind of screwed up to begin with become even more complicated as they search for their true identity, love, and family.
re-readability: no
notable points: there are some beautiful thoughts that are captured in the prose, the writing style is unique and addicting, the story line is unnecessarily hard-to-follow though meant to be complex, characters are not exactly lovable
