Review of : Feeling Is The Secret

the wisdom of Neville Goddard

Awakened Imagination is the key to Neville's christian mysticism.  I, too, began my Neville reading with Ressurection, a book that begins by outlinine the process of creation within us, and ends with an application of the bible that I still strive to understand.  But many of his other books clarify his idea that the passages of the bible are diagrams for consciousness raising.  Immortal Man is probably my favorite, as it brings life and all of living into joyous clairty. I recommend Neville's teachings to everyone.  Today - imagine something wonderful for yourself and another.

An Older Mystic Who Knew

I read this “Feeling is the Secret” in a book by Neville Goddard called “Resurrection”.  Resurrection is a complilation of many of the works of Neville Goddard.  This man was talking about 'the law of attraction' before it was so popular as it is today.  He goes into great detail of how thought is transferred explaining how that the object of our desire is never far off; how that it's nearness makes it remote from observation of the senses. He explains how the object of our desire dwells in consciousness, and consciousness is closer than breathing and nearer than hands and feet and that in fact “Consciousness” is the one and only reality.   But consciousness is modified by 'belief'.

WHAT DO WE BELIEVE TO BE TRUE???   We need to consider our accumulated beliefs and rediscover how we can change the stories, and live as a master for as Neville Goddard says,  “A master lives in a world of his own creation”.

This is the key to our power which we all will need to have the the coming days.  We have to be less and less controled by what our senses preceive, and learn to put to use the visualization that Goddard speaks of so well in his book.
