The Secret of Death ...

Tongue in cheek. This is not your typical book of spiritual awakening, actually its just a novel, a story, a simple book. It was one of the first Pratchett books I read (with the exception of Good Omens from Pratchett and Gaiman) and it deserves a spot on everyones bookshelf. Truth be told the entire library of Pratchett books belong on your bookshelf because he's a genius—If you feel genius is the ability to see the truth about humanity so clearly you can write about it with humour and aplomb, while at the same time not writing about it at all.

Mike's Caution: subtle profundity.
