Coelho is Consistent
Coelho's newest book, which serves as a companion guide The Alchemist. The book lives up to its advertisement that “Every short passage invited us to live out our dreams, to embrace the uncertainty of life, and to rise to our own unique destiny.” If you enjoy Coelho, you'll love this book.

I used to do this trick as a kid, thought it was “nothing unusual” then found out other people did it – like Phyllis Curott, the author of “Book of Shadows”. What I found interesting in WOTL is that I haven't read the book from beginning to end, it's not reading to me to be that kind of a book. It's an advice book, you open the book to a page, any page, and apply it to either your reading or your life or the “lesson” to be reminded of that day. I just open it to whatever page it lands on or put my finger on, then read that passage, really read it, digest it, think about it, and see where it applies. It's never disappointed me. The first book that it references to, The Alchemist, is like taking a magical journey, no pun intended. It's a fable, and it lures you in, the words, the story, the lessons learned. Wonderful. I read it from time to time to refresh me and remind me. A very good read.
