Integral

K. Wilber popularized the word integral, but does he understand it?! Read what Wilber read to find out. The subtleties of Gebser’s thought are simply astounding. It is not too hard to grasp Wilber’s 2nd tier, just look how many translations have been done, how many books have been read, how many people have signed up. Gebser’s Integral is a whole other creature, with a life of it’s own, literally. I cannot recommend this book enough. It is truly transformative.

so much to say about this book...

This book warrants too much information that I cannot possibly do it justice.  Gebser was a contemporary of Jung who remained rather obscure until a certain K. Wilber reintroduced him to his audience.  Gebser is one of those rare “original” thinkers who relies on his own creative brilliance so much so that this work, his most important, is truly unique.  It has only recently been translated from the german and this still remains the only such translation known.  Most of his other work still awaits translation with the exception of a few papers.  It is not for the faint of heart but utterly worth it!
