I have observed at a distance the process of Ken Wilber's conscious evolution. This little book encapsulates most of his thinking summed up I believe by his statement on p. 56 that “The health of the entire spiral is the prime directive, not preferential treatment for any one level.” - I anxiously await his new book on integral spirituality.
This is a fine summary of the integral view and map. Although the cutting edge of Ken’s thinking is moving deeper these days, this still is my favorite book to give someone who wants to know what is going on with all this “integral” stuff.
