Shambhala is indeed a paradise, just as it was lovingly portrayed in the famous James Hilton novel Lost Horizon. It is also a spiritual utopia, and Redfield takes great pleasure in pondering the possibilities of living in a culture that is entirely "focused on the life process." Residents explain their lifestyle, which has emerged from a completely spiritual culture, including some rather sensible opinions about technology, parenting, and even genetic testing. Meanwhile, Redfield remains the wide-eyed observer. Those who loved the characters, writing style, and epiphanies in The Celestine Prophecy will not be disappointed with Redfield's latest inspirational portrait of a new world order. --Gail Hudson
I've read all of Redfield's wonderful collection :)) Each provided insight and felt with purpose. Not long after my having read “The Secret of Shambhala : In Search of the Eleventh Insight” My becoming Shambhala Master unfolded with synchronicity. www.celestinevision.com

“Setting a field for synchronicity is a matter of putting yourself in a particular state of mind. It is easy to think about synchronicity intellectually, but unless you enter the state of mind where your prayer-field will help, all you will do is glimpse the coincidences every once in a while. In some situations that is enough and you will b led forward for a time, but eventually you will lose your direction. The only way to establish a constant flow of synchronicity is to stay in a state where your prayer field keeps this blow moving toward you–a state of conscious alertness.”

“Energy doesn't come to us so much from the things around us–although we can absorb energy directly from some plants and sacred sites. Sacred energy comes from our connection to the divine inside us.”

suspend your logical mind let in joy and creativityand then if you must, just see the story as a metaphoror if you darehear the call to transform yourself and our lives on this planet.
One thing I know for sure, there is a Shambhala in your heart.
