I also happened to read it at the right time.. and read it again and again and everytime came across new nuggets of insight. It's once of those books that it is an easy read, your swept away on a journey and sad at the end not because of the ending itself but more that you know it will be awhile before you find a book like that again.

Sometimes books come to you just when you need them. They bridge you to a new reality or clarify a current situation. It has been a year since xyz and the lingering personal Zahir was given a frame by this book and, also, pretty much transformed. I am so grateful to the universe for giving me the guidance I need JUST when I need it.!

All men and all women are connected by an energy which many people call love, but which is, in fact, the raw material from which the universe was built. This energy can't be manipulated, it leads us gently forwards, it contains all we have to learn in this life. It we try to make it go in the direction we want, we end up desperate, frustrated, disillusioned, because that energy is free and wild.

We could spend the rest of our life saying that we love such a person or thing, when the truth is that we are merely suffering because, instead of accepting love's strength, we  are trying to diminish it so that it fits the world in which we imagine we live
