Our hearts go to war when we betray ourselves.

Just by reading this book, I notice my actions and thoughts have changed. I feel like my perspective and contribution towards peace has been transformed with this new understanding and framework. I learned about the beliefs/view that I hold that keeps my heart at 'war'. They call this the 'box' and when I am justifying my actions or blaming another for how I feel, then I'm 'in' the box for certain. The book gave me a great way to get 'out' of the box and then move towards peace with myself and others. It's not about changing others, it's about being at peace in ourselves so we can create an environment for change between us. I have often looked at others as 'objects' instead of people. Objects in the sense of how they helped or didn't help me get what I wanted. When I shift out of that and see others as people (those that have needs, fears, wants and dreams - just like me), then something shifts. My thinking and senses come back to balance and new solutions become apparent. I'm on a quest to use this framework to keep my heart and peace and create peace everyone where I go. How about you?
