There are 4 books in this series, and Hperion is the first. The author is brilliant, bringing in allusions to major works of art and literature and quantum physics and is also incredibly creative in his story telling. This is a MUST-READ for anyone who likes contemplating time, life off-planet, how our universe might look in the future as we encounter other life forms and also as we need to develop inter-planetary government…oh, sorry, we're still stuck at how to pull off inter-state government, aren't we? Well, nonetheless, this is a fantastic series.
